Fat32 to NTFS conversion and compatibility with Fat 32 on network

I upgraded to XP Home. Considering conversion to NTFS. On
my home network, the rest of the computers are Windows
98se. If I upgrade my box to NTFS, will the older Win 98
computers on my network be able to access files on my
computer?
 
Yes. The file system is transparent to other computers and only affects how
the local computer writes data to the disk. Inter-computer communication
takes place via a network protocol-- in this instance TCP/IP. Feel free to
convert to NTFS.
