FAT32 & NTFS Query

If I have Win XP Pro installed on my C drive and my kid gave me a drive with
tons of photos on it (to use as drive D) but the format of the drive is
NTFS, will my FAT32 Windows drive have any trouble reading/retrieving data
from the NTFS D drive?

Hi,

Shouldn't be a problem, Windows can use either or both file systems
simultaneously.

No, you should have no trouble. WinXP can read FAT12 (the file system
used on 3.5" diskettes), FAT16, FAT32, CDFS (the file system used on
most CDs), and NTFS with equal facility. Further, the file system on
any one disk/partition or diskette has absolutely no affect upon the
operating system's ability to read other compatible file systems on
other disks/partitions.
