If I create an image file of my FAT32 'C' Drive primary partition
(containing OS plus all installed programs) using latest PQ Drive Image
which is saved on another FAT32 hard drive, and I then convert the original
FAT32 partition to NTFS file system, can I replace the NTFS partition by
restoring the FAT32 image file to the 'C' drive should I choose to do this.

Thanks in advance.

If you image a FAT32 partition and then restore it, you wind up with the
same FAT32 partition. The file system of the disk being restored to, does
not matter.
