What is the difference between FAT and FAT32?

FAT (FAT16) has a length of 16 bits per cluster-reg-number in the
FAT (File Allocation Table). It means maximum 65536 clusters. If
the clustersize is 32 KB, the partitionsize is 2 GB, and much
slack. That's why FAT32 came. Max. 17 TB by 4 KB clusters.

Answered in another newsgroup. Please do not send the same message
separately to more than one newsgroup (called multiposting). Doing so
just fragments the thread, so someone who answers in one newsgroup
doesn't get to see answers from others in another newsgroup. And for
those who read all the newsgroups the message is multiposted to, they
see the message multiple times instead of once (they would see it only
once if you correctly crossposted instead). This wastes everyone's
time, and gets you poorer help than you should get.

Depends On The Scale. If You Are Just FAT, Then The Numbers Will Report
Your True Weight. If You Are Extremly FAT, Then You Need A FAT32 Scale To
Report Your Gigantic Weight. Just FYI.
