Fastest AMD processor for Asus A7V266-E?

Currently have a 1.8GHz Athlon XP - how high can I go with this
mainboard?
 
Any 266FSB Socket A cpu should work. The XP2600+ (with 266FSB not 333) is
the fastest but they are quite hard to find.
 
Impossible you mean settled ona Xp 2400 :)
