fan failure msg

Hi, would anyone know how to get rid of this nagging message? Our cas fan
failed and it gave us the warning that it failed, we replaced it---but know,
everytime we reboot, the message comes us to strike F1 key to continue
because of "previous" fan failure. Everything works fine, including the new
fan, but this is a pain in the butt everytime we restart. Any one have any
suggestions of where we might go into to reset(?) some kind of setting?
Thanks,
Darlene

Usually you would enter your BIOS upon start up...........keys to push
depend upon machine check your manual............
You would go to the page where it shows your Fan Monitoring and turn it
off..........safe and reboot...enter BIOS again and turn it back on...safe
and reboot and let it continu into XP.There should be no more message unless
it is a piece of monitoring software that was included with your
system...which you would need to find..start and do a reset on.
