False Positive? gcdeterminationdatauser.gcd

I have 2 PCs pretty much set up the same, and I updated MS
Antispyware to the latest version for both yesterday.

As part of a regularly weekly routine, I used an online
scanner to scan for viruses, and amazingly it detected a
virus ONLY ONE OF THE PCs ONLY - c:\program
files\microsoft antispyware\gcdeterminationdatauser.gcd.

On the supposedly infected PC, the file concerned had been
updated, but on the non infected one it had not.

I ran McAfee VirusScan with the latest DAT files and no
viruses were found on either.

Is this a false positive - if so, why is it not being
picked up on the other PC?

A confused.....

This sounds like a false positive.

Can you give details of the definition level in place on the "infected"
machine, and what online scanner (URL) gave the reading?

It'd help to know the physical particulars of gcdeterminationdatauser.gcd,
too--perhaps via the tools, advanced tools, advanced file analyzer.

Thanks Bill,
It was Command on Demand online scanner - Authentium -
http://www.command2.co.uk/cod_ev/host.htm.

Definition level at the time was 5749, but it still shows
as a virus having updated to 5751 today.

Thanks very much for the details. I've passed them on--not sure what it is
possible to do about it, however.
