failure to download files from emails .

HI after having no problems before ,now when I try to download a file from a
email they fail.this message comes up. "Windows cannot access the specified
device,path or file.you maynot have the appropriate permission to access this"
It has always downloaded them before ,is there something needs sorting
perhaps?
the files today that wouldnt download are PPS &MPG files.
any help for a novice would be great thanks Bill

Hi thanks for that I couldnt find a option that actually say do not allow
attachments? but what I find now is I can save it to desktop & then open
them.Does this sound ok please thanks Bill

Saving an attachment is a good idea.
You can scan for viruses before opening and if you want to make any changes
to the attachment, the changes can actually be saved.
