This is just not enough information. What does the box look like, what else
is written on the border, inside as in Ok, etc? When did this start? How
old is the profile? Can you capture a screen shot?
The bow is about an inch and a half square, the top is a blue toolbar with just an x in the right hand corner, displayed in the box is FAIL, under the word fail is another box with OK. This does not seem to be affecting the running of the computer as far as I can see, but is annoying when you don't know how to put it right
Thank you for your prompt reply
Kel
There are many scripts written to produce a Fail dialog box. One for
example: Checks the serial number of a CD-ROM and refuses to work if the
installation CD is not in the CD Drive, thus the error box.
I know this is not much help, but without knowing more, this is the best I
can do. Good luck and keep us posted.
I am gettnig the very same box - - - it happens either at start up on my wife sign in(non-administrator account) and never on my account(administrator priveledges) The word fail is actually spelled FAil - - two caps and two smalle letters. no error codes - - nothing. Does this give any help to kel's problem????
