Hi
I've been getting this "fail" messege each time I start my compter so I went
to the
event viewer and found what looks like three drivers that are failling to
load.

One was ATI SmartGart but that was a easy fix.
The other two are being a pain.
One is "Creative service for cdrom access" and the other is "i8042prt sptd
Kernal_Driver" call me stupid but I don't know what this is for? Since
everything seems to be working.

Please Help! becouse I'm braindead

^^^^^^^^^ you might run your machine through the M$ Vista compatibility thing. I can't use my ATI AIW 9800 because of Vista.
the other two might be under this incompatibility thing also.

Boy' do I feel stupid.
It was the keyboard driver.
I updated the driver for the mouse but since thay came as a combo
I thought it would work for both. (dumb dumb dumb)

So with the updated keyboard driver I'm no longer getting the fail messege at
startup.

Thank's for your reply
Sorry for wasting your time.

It's not a waste. You learned something. I also learned something while
trying to find some information about the error details you posted.
