Factor Analysis

Lachlan

G'day,

I have 2 columns of data that I need to analysis to
determine if there is any sort of correlation between
them. Some one has mentioned "factor Analysis" to me, is
this what I need to use? If so, does any one know how
to "read/understand" the results? I have got "Anova
Single Factor" to work, just not sure if this is what I
what or how to read the results.

Thanks for your help.

It's hard to recommend anything other than that you buy and read a good
stats textbook. Factor analysis is potentially useful if you have many
variables. You have only two. See the CORREL function in online help, but if
that seems mysterious, then the stats textbook is really the only sound next
step.
