Hi, Martin

AVDISK should work. The latest version uses a FreeDOS formatted floppy
disk image:

www.avdisk.org

If you have NTFS partitions you will need to copy NTFSDOS onto the
boot disk. I think Deniz set things up so that NTFSDOS will be loaded
automatically if it is present. Get it here, if needed:

http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/NTFSDOS.shtml

Incidently, I have re-released my old F-PROT updater
(http://download.filerecovery.com - a few links on this site don't
work yet, BTW) in a new version (1.6). I designed it so that it is
compatible with AVDISK, that is, if an AVDISK directory is present the
user is given an option
to update his floppies whenever a new DEF is downloaded from F-PROT.

No problem, in fact I posted that before I saw Art's correction.
Since I'm on SBC (former pacbell) I even tried to log in with my account
info, but no go. You've got some nice stuff on your site, and that links
site would keep anyone busy for a long time just evaluating all that
stuff, and of course restoring from the things those types of powerful
utilities can do ;-)
