Hello,

Anyone know where I can download the new F-Prot for Dos 3.15A, another
website than F-Prot's?

Thanks

Their web site point to:
<http://files.f-prot.com/files/dos/f-prot.zip>

But have you tried their FTP server?
<ftp://ftp.f-prot.com/pub/dos/>
<ftp://ftp.f-prot.com/pub/dos/fp-315a.zip>

AFAIK this version does not seem to be mirrored to the mirror sites
yet...

All the best,

Thanks for the info.

Another fine job by Frisk Software.

Version 3.15a fixes some command line options that weren't working
and the /archive=0 skips scanning of archives.

Interactive mode saves most settings, though "dumb scan" is still enabled.

(Executable renamed to lessen chance a virus will delete it. :) )

:: scnall.bat
:: Scan hard drive for viruses
:: Clear out browser cache and recycle bin to shorten scan time
::
echo y | del C:\WINDOWS\APPLIC~1\MOZILLA\PROFILES\DEFAULT\VULJAPBZ.SLT\CACHE\*.*
deltree /y c:\recycled\*.*
c:\fprot\anti.exe /hard /beep /ext /archive=0

Yes and no. Today they are, to morrow - who knows.
Let me try to explain:

Their website gives a fixed file/url (no version number),
so I guess it is safe to assume the above url should always point to
the most recent version.
<ftp://ftp.f-prot.com/pub/dos/fp-315a.zip>

The ftp site url here points to version 315a, which is the latest
as we speak, but tomorrow who knows. Version 316 might have surfaced
by then - for all we know. Therefor, when you use
the ftp server, you should look in the directory
it self: <ftp://ftp.f-prot.com/pub/dos/>, to see if a more recent
version have surfaced there. See?
