On "msconfig" there are a whole bunch of things loading that I have no idea
what they are, under the "systems" tab. Under the "startup" tab are things
that I recognize and want.
Some seem to be needed. I de-activated the whole bunch and it frowned on
re-booting but a second boot brought it up and I just re-activated the whole
bunch like Billy Gates seems to want us to do. :-(
Does anyone have a list of the ones that will load themselves if they are
called for in some program but need not be loaded on boot? That's assuming
most xp-pro's load approximately the same thing.
Each page of them are 10 lines and there are 8 or 10 pages of them. Surely
they are not all needed on boot.
