Extracting SP1 from WinXP upgrade disk

Is there a way to extract SP1 from an upgrade disk? I
have an HP laptop with WinXP Home on it, but it doesn't
have service pack 1. I also have a WinXP upgrade disk
that I used on another computer. I know I can upgrade the
laptop from XP to XP w/SP1 using the upgrade disk, but it
won't accept the product key that came with my laptop. I
assume it would work if I entered the product key from
the upgrade disk, but I've already used it to upgrade
another computer. So, is there a way to extract the SP1
files from the upgrade disk and then install them on the
laptop? Or, would I be violating the user agreement if I
used the upgrade disk on the laptop and used the upgrade
product key even though I already used it on another
computer?
Thanks for your help.

I could do either of those, but I have a very slow dial-
up connection and it would take hours to download. Also,
if I ever decide to reinstall Windows, I would have to do
it all over again. I have 3 computers with XP, and
keeping them all up to date can be time consuming. As to
your suggestion to buy the CD, I could do that but it
costs $10 and I hate to pay again for something I already
have. After all, SP1 is on the upgrade CD somewhere.
