Extract check boxes from word 2007 programatically with java

hi ,
Iwant to extract the checkboxs programatically with java from word document 2007.when i excute the program i got formcodes of that checkbox but i can't get the value of checkbox means whether checked or not.
I downloaded the apachePOI also.

help me.
