Extract an animated gif

Hi Group,

I've never used powerpoint before and I would like to
extract an animated gif from a powerpoint presentation.

I'm fairly experienced with other Office applications such
as Excel, Word, Publisher etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Save the ppt as html. (Click File > Save as. Select Web Page under Save as
type). Open the output folder, and look for the picture.

Save the file as a web page (html) and you will get an html file + a folder
of dependant files which will include your gif

An easier alternative is to right click the gif and "save as picture"

Trish's solution will work if you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above.

Couldn't get the right click to do anything (I'm using 2000)
