Extra Memory on RAID card - difference?

I notice servers come with different MB on RAID Cards - what difference does
the amount of MB make? Could a small amount be a bottleneck?

Extra memory may or may not make a difference. It depends on your
workload, the number and type of disks you have, and the RAID
configuration.

More memory does not guarantee better performance.
