Extra lines being inserted in Access report

I have created Access reports for years and have just encountered an
annoying problem that I can't figure out. A white space is being added
between sections that I can't get to go away.

Here is what I expect to see:Name Header: Name
Address
City State Zip

a brief line of text in a label box
----------------------------------------------------- [horizontal
line]
Detail Section: line 1 info
line 2 info
Here is what I'm seeing:Name Header: Name
Address
City State Zip

a brief line of text in a label box
----------------------------------------------------- [horizontal
line]

<<< note inserted white
space
Detail Section: line 1 info
line 2 info

I have snugged the section bars up but that dratted space just won't
go away! The address fields are set to "Can Shrink"

Any ideas????

Hmmm. Have you tried reducing the length of the horizontal line? Sometimes
that will be just long enough to "spill over"
into the next line.
