Extra entries in Start Menu

I want to remove the following entries from the Start Menu:

Log off- using Tweakui 1.33, no option to do this.

Microsoft Update

Windows Update

Windows Catalog

If there is registry keys to edit, that's OK.

I don't know about the Log Off button, but the others you can delete
manually if you have adminsitrative rights. Just right click and chose to
delete or Remove from List.

You can also go to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu" and
delete them from there if you don't want anyone new users to get them when
they log in for the first time.

I typically did it this way when I was setting up computers for a company I
used to work for. They may be a better way but I don't know of it.

Thanks, I will try that, but can tell you none of them appear in Start
Menu folder in Explorer view. I will look as above and post back.
