External Link Shows Formula Not Info

I apologize iof this is answered somewhere already, but I can't fin
it.

I'm using the info in a worksheet to populate the cells in another.
use the appropriate formula to reference the worksheet ie
=Sheet1!A46. It works in some cells but in others it simply display
the formula itself. The cells are formatted the same whether it b
text, number, currency, etc.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
 
Hi!

Those cells are formatted as text.

Select the cells in question
Goto Format>Cells>Number>GENERAL>OK

With those cells still selected
Goto Edit>Replace
Find what: =
Replace with: =
Replace All
