External Harddrives

Could you advise on the best external harddrive to use?
I have a 120 GB Maxtor drive.

I just bought a 300gb external Seagate drive at Fryes for $139 after a $50
rebate. I'm very pleased with it especially for the price.

I use a 250Gb Lacie D2 Extreme Triple and that is very good. Lots of
connection options and has very good data transfer rates.

I bought the hard disk and the enclosure separately. 300gb Maxtor and
an IcyBox enclosure by Raidsonic. Being a techie has its advantages!!!
Buying the components separately is much cheaper.

Maxtor, Seagate make reliable hard disks. Lacie are well known for
their external hard drives and they are reliable as well.
