External Hard Drive does not have drive letter

Added an external hard drive to a Server 2003 OS. Can be seen in Device
Manager but not assigned a letter in "My Computer". Done all updates and
patches. Nothing seems to work. Any heads up will be greatly appreciated.

You can assign drive letters in Disk Management
Start|Run|diskmgmt.msc
