External Email

Hi, I am unable to send/receive external email in Outlook 2000. I checked
the email account and it is setup properly. I've tried to remove the account
and setting it up again and it didn't work. I set up the same account in
another computer and it worked fine. I've setup a different account in my
computer and it didn't work. I've also deleted Office and reinstalled it.

The os is Windows XP sp1 Home edition.

I've been given the following messages:
 
It's likely that you've got some networking problems on the machine on which
you're getting these errors. You might try disabling firewalls or other
network-related software and see if that helps.
