External E CD-RW Problem recording

External CD plays fine but when attempting to record to E drive, get message to load a CD. After loading
nothing happens, IE> the music doesnt record. Tried moving a file to the E drive verses copy, get the same
notice "load a CD". Anybody got any ideas. I have tried two different brand CDs, no success. Its a 54/24/52 could
that make a difference why it will not burn to the e drive. Help
 
Finally got it to work this morning. It was the software we were using didnt recognize/ not compatabile
with the CD-RW. Amazing aye. Now after one cd burn, dang thing wont burn a second burn to the CD.
Heading to Comp USA to buy new software. After downloading three other programs for testing none
of them would burn and the one that did took forever, then wouldnt burn a second recording to the CD.
This is what they call progress aye.
