External driver

I can't add any data sources without the error [Driver
does not support this function]. ODBC is installed. I
only have problems with this when an XP machine is running
Office 2000?

I'd download and install the latest MDAC (2.7) refresh. Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/data for details.

How are you adding data sources?
