External disk drive driver. Where?

I installed a USB device to read my CompactDisk from my
camera. It worked fine. I then installed a USB II Western
Digital External disk drive. It consistently gives the
error message "Path too deep" when I try to copy data to
it. I believe that the driver is messed up. I have
contacted Western Digital and they send me to Microsoft.
But I cannot find where to get the driver for XP USB
external drives. Anyone know?

first, i would like you to do any fix before you save the pics or files in you CompactDisk onto another hard devices
if you've done this, ok, try to find a stable third-party software to solve your problem
