External CD-Rom Boot.

My Problem-

I can not seem to find a way to boot my Toshiba Portege 3110CT off an
external CD-Rom drive. I have to boot from an external do to the fact
that this unit has NO built in Floppy or Cd-rom drive. I do on the
other hand have both but external. Does anyone have any idea on a boot
disk I can find online and or any information that can help me with
this problem? Thanks.

F2 at startup (at the Toshiba logo) should give you the option to choose
which is the boot order... but it has to be something that is included in
the BIOS. If that option isn't there, you don't have the choice.

On my Toshiba, I had to hit a particular key when it is at the Toshiba logo
screen. I vaguely recall it being "c" but the F2 thing mentioned by Cari
might work as well. If you bounce around the Toshiba support website you
can find the info you need there as well.
