External Backup Tape

I tried to install the Colorado Backup II on my new
computer (Windows XP) and received the following message.

""Windows 2000 "Play and Plug" has previously detected and
installed an external tape drive. You will need to use the
Device Manager to Uninstall the rive "VID_O4E6PID80000002"
listed under "Other Devices" and restart your System
before your external tape drive will work.
SCMEPAT DRIVE PACKAGE""

Under Device manager I cannot find Other devices in order
to do what it says. can someone help me? Also is there
an externsl tape drive I can get to backup my computer I
need to download updates one of which advises to backup my
computer first.

Hello

It is not supported by XP and you may need to go to their
website and see if their are any support or drivers for that
unit. but am pretty sure they went out of business
