Extensions help

I have added the Front Page 2002 Extensions to a 2003 Web
Addition.

When I try to extend a server and go to the administration
page for that server I get the following error>

The extensions and administration programs do not match,
the Administration program is to old for these extensions.

Where / how can I update this.

I'm not sure what you mean by this sentence.

If you added the Front Page 2002 Extensions to IIS running
on Windows Server 2003, did you add the version from the
Windows Server 2003 CD or a downloaded version? You need
to use the one on the CD.

Otherwise, you need to perform FPSE 2002 fucntions through
the administrative Web pages, and not through the Internet
Services Manager MMC.

Usually this happens when you try to use the admin functions that are part
of the IIS MMC. The 2002 extensions use a web-based administration feature
now which is why this message usually occurs. You should find a shortcut to
the web-based admin through the Control Panel or Control Panel |
Administrative Tools

Hope this helps,

Unfortunately, "3 post above this one" depends upon what newsreader the
person is using, and how they have it configured.

From what I've been able to glean from that and this, it sounds like you
tried to extend (for SharePoint) a web site with FrontPage server
extensions. SharePoint and FrontPage server extensions are NOT compatible.
You must remove the server extensions prior to extending the web site.
