extending named ranges

how do you extend a named range that is referred to in a formula
 
Click on Insert | Name | Define and choose the name you want to change
- its definition will be shown in the Refers To box, so change this to
suit.

Alternatively, Insert enough cells within the scope of the named
range, and it will automatically adjust.
