I have an old External SCSI Hard Drive that was formatted and used with
Macintosh computer. I wonder if this drive could be mounted and
reformatted to be used as a backup drive for a Dell D-600 using XP Pro?

Something tell me the Dell may not have a SCSI interface.

You will need a SCSI adapter card. They can be spendy.

I have three SCSI drives in my computer with an Adaptec AHA-2940UW SCSI
adapter card which costs ~$200. I've had the card since about 1995 and
don't remember the exact cost.

Though the SCSI card will probably not cost a fortune...
since the drive is an old one...the money would probably be better spend
just purchasing
a whole new drive...
For external...a USB-2 drive should do the trick
