Exportt/Copy Structure Only

Good evening,

I have just finished creating an Access Database. While working on
it, I entered a lot of "TEST" data. Is it possible to export or copy
only the structure so that I can start the real data with a clean
database.

Thank you

Mary,

Well, one method would be to quickly open each table, Ctrl+A and Del. :)
Then compact & repair.

Another way is to open a new MDB file.
File|Get External Data|Import menu.
Find and select your existing database.
Select all objects.
Click the 'Options>>' button.
Under 'Import tables', select 'Definitiuon Only'.
Tick the 'Menus and Toolbars' and/or 'Import/Export Specs' if they are
applicable.
Click 'OK'

Yes. Create a new, empty database; use File... Get External Data...
Import. First import the Table; use the option on the import screen to
select "structure only".

Then import all the Forms, Queries, Reports, etc.

If you have any already-populated lookup tables that won't be changing
with the new database (Titles, Zipcodes, etc.), of course you can
import them intact.
