Hi All:
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
I have a report that I am creating to eventually export to a Text
File....the Text file has very specific character limits as it goes out to a
vendor who applies scripts and such dependent on the placement of certain
characters....
I tried to limit the character length of individual fields, but to no avail.
What I would up doing was creating one large text box that included each a
formula that combined each individual field, along with any filer 0's or
constants that were part of the format of the txt file. Visually, that is, on
the screen, the Access report looks beautiful - exactly what we would need.
But once I export it to Text the line spacing is uneven, i.e., two lines
together, then a space, then two lines together, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to either fix the export, or how to
fix the way I have created it?
