exporting mailboxes from mac os 9

How do I export all of my email folders settings, etc from Outlook express 5
on my Mac OS9 to my new mac OSX using the mac email client? Where are
all of my mailboxes stored on my old mac?

Ask in a mac group as this one deals with Windows Outlook, and not Outlook
Express.
