Exporting .dbf files taking too long

I have been exporting dbf files (All different files) forever accross a
network with out a problem.
All of the sudden Recently, the files now take 15-20 minutes to export no
matter the size.

Other computers in my office can do the export procedure without a problem
and immediately.
The only way i know to resolve this is to reformat my harddrive ...I really
dont want to do this again

Has anyone seen this problem?

Hi CSI,

What are the anti virus scan settings on the problem computer? Do they scan
DBF files?
