exporting contacts

Hi...I sent this a couple days ago but don't see it anywhere...hope it's not
a duplicate!

I'd like to export just a few of my contacts, and don't see a way to do this
other than creating a new folder for the contacts to be exported. I really
don't want to do this since I'll have to maintain changes in both places.
I'm working in 2002, sp1.

Anyone know how to do this? Thanks...Jan

You want to export them to what? If you elaborate a bit on your objective
perhaps we can find a good way for you to achieve it.

Hi Ben...I think just to Excel...I was exporting to a csv and then to excel,
which is no problem. I just don't know how to export just a handful without
creating a new folder. Every time I export my contacts folder, no matter
what the view is showing, I get every single one of them. Thanks...Jan

Why export to Excel? What are you trying to achieve?

Could you view them in a table view, select the ones you want and cut and
paste them into excel?

The table view worked Judy! I had already tried cut & paste to Excel, but
the format was not right. The table view is perfect...thanks so much. Jan
