Exporting back from Outlook 2000 to Outlook Express

I need to export my contacts and messages out of Outlook 2000 so that I can
install them onto my laptop that uses Outlook Express. I've checked around
but cannot find directions on how to accomplish this. I would welcome all
suggestions. Thanks.
 
See what formats OE can import into (probably CSV) - or on the same machine
as Outlook, use OE's import function to copy them to the wab and then copy
the wab to the desktop.

I have figured out how to do contacts, but there doesn't seem to be any way
to export my messages out of Outlook 2000. Any suggestions for messages?
 
Can you import to OE (using OE's menu) on the machine where 2000 is in
installed? The move the dbx file(s) to the new machine.

If you new a 3rd party tool, see
http://www.slipstick.com/config/convmsg.htm. The ones at the top support
converting between many popular clients.
