When you export a PST file and then import it onto another computer, is it
able to maintain the Activities tab items? Using an Exchange Server is not
an option at the present time.

Thank you for the feedback.

No, it's not. Only copying the entire .pst file and then using it as your default data store can do that.

I would love to be able to copy the entire .pst file and then use it as my
default data store on my second computer. The problem is that when I copy
the .pst file to the second computer and the second computer then goes to
the POP3 mail server, it downloads all the email residing on the mail
server. I then end up with duplicates of all my email. Do you know of any
way to prevent this from happening. I have the latest updates applied to
Outlook.

Thank you for your help.

Remove the email account from your second computer?

The second computer is my laptop for on the road so I need to be able to get
at email during the day which means I cannot turn off the email account.

OK. Copy the pst file after downloading all mail on the first computer. Then
set Outlook on both computers to keep a copy of messages on the server, and
do not bother to copy the pst file again. That way your Inboxes will always
be in synch. the only folder that won't be is your Sent Items, if you send
email from either machine.
