exporting address book

In attempting to export my address book I find both IMPORT and EXPORT options under FILE to be greyed-out, and thus not an option at all. Can find nothing indicating a problem, nor can I find anything on the M/S knowledge base about such a condition. Any suggestions?
 
I'm looking for same info - however, I do know "why" they're greyed out... You've got OE set to share your address book. If not sharing, file is *.wab and you can export.
