My new PPC contains Microsoft Outlook 2002 and require a .mbs or .odbc file
extension to import. From the PC is the available export file extensions
either .wab or .csv. How to transfer the address book? Best regards,
johnny.karlson

You don't; you synchronize it with ActiveSync so both the Pocket PC and
Outlook contain the same contacts.

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

None of this sounds correct.
Outlook cannot export to a WAB.
You could not be using Outlook. Outlook Express is not Outlook.

Before I asked the question about the file extensions I tried ActiveSync and
the folder was transferred but with no content. There must be a way - or?

ActiveSync is the way. It is supported in ActivSync or PocketPC groups. This
is not an Outlook issue.

I was on the phone with Verizon for approx. an hour tonight trying to figure
out why active sync would not sync my contacts to my pda. She finally gave
up and said it had to be an issue with outlook. Is there a specific setting
in outlook that I need to have set correctly? A certain way I have to put my
contacts in and save? Please help, I have tried all day and I know it should
not be this difficult but for whatever reason it is not working.

Thank you in advance.

no special setting. You could try a new profile.
Try the Microsoft Public Pocket PC group. they have loads of experience with
issues of this type.
