exporting a private key

I'm using windows xp w/IE 6. I have installed a digital
signature certificate using internet explorer, however
when i try to export the certificate using the
certificate export wizard in "tools>internet
option>content>certificates" the export wizard greys out
the export private key option. I have tried several
different things.

Is there any help out there? Thanks!
 
This is because the private key for your digital signature certificate is
not exportable.
You can export only the certificate, but not the private key.
