Export workaround?

I need to pull over email from O-2003 to O-2002... work PC to pers PC. My
company's IT admin policy only allows me to export the pst file that 02 can
not read. I have found that I can export to a CSV file, but only email in
each folder i.e. not all folders at once. And even then, I lose one key
piece of data: the date of the email (why?). So, is there is a workaround or
3rd party software? Is there something that can covert the pst files from
one version to another, and allow me to import into 02?

If your company doesn't allow you to create an Outlook 2002-format PST, you
may be out of luck.
I have found that I can export to a CSV file, but only email in
each folder i.e. not all folders at once. And even then, I lose one key
piece of data: the date of the email (why?).

Why? Because export and import are not intended to transfer data from
Outlook to Outlook and will always lose data.
So, is there is a workaround or 3rd party software? Is there something
that can covert the pst files
from one version to another, and allow me to import into 02?

The only tool I know is http://www.maclean.com/upstart.php but if your IT
people won't let you create an ANSI PST, it's unlikely they'll allow you to
purchase and install this tool.

No, that is the essence of the problem. The only format choice is to create
another pst file in the format that 03 uses...not 02. I've read elsewhere
that 03 pst files are not backward compatible with 02. So I either need to
find 3rd party SW that converts this or find a way to export to CSV files
(for example) whereby all folders can export at once, not just individual
emails.

Does your IT policy allow you within Outlook to create a new data file in
old format (97-2002)?

Make a copy of the 2003 pst file, take it home, (BTW, make sure you are able
LEGALLY to do this - many companies won't allow you to do so). Download and
install the trial version of Office 2007. Use that to transfer the data from
the 2003 file to a 2002 file. Uninstall trial version.

You might google for conversion software, the only ones I found convert old
to new format
Other than that you are left hunting for a friend who has outlook 2003/2007
