Export query to tab delimited text file

I need my select query to export its records to a tab delimited text file. I
am unable to find a way to do it in the query and my macro using "Transfer
Text" and a Transfer Type of "Export Delimited" exports the records with
comma delimiters. What do I need to do to get tab delimiters? Using Access
2002. Is there a function I don't know about? I really don't know much about
VBA.
Thanks to all who offer suggestions.

I have tried using the Export spec and selecting tab delimited, but it still
saves it with quotes around the fields. When you select Transfer TExt, you
have to select a "type". There is only Delimited or Fixed. If you select
Delimited and then follow the instructions to create an export spec, it STILL
comes out with quotes around the fields. I need it to come out looking like
when a spreadsheet in Excel is saved selecting Text (tab delimited). No
quotes around the fields. Any help is appreciated.

When you create an import spec, there is an option for Text Qualifer. If you
select the qoutes, it removes them from the results.

Wow! That's great! I hadn't thought of that. This will save lots of time
exporting to Excel and then manually saving to a Tab Delimited file. Thanks
for the quick response!
