Hi,

Any way to export the privacy settings - in particular the details of
allowable cookie sites, to a file which can be imported into another
computer other than with registry keys?

Thanks,

Peter Kaufman MCP

Hi Peter,

There has no wizard which can export the Privacy settings.

The Privacy settings is saved in the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\P3P\History registry key.

You can export the key to a reg file.

Then, copy the file to the new computer. Double click it and click Yes to
import the changes to the registry. The Privacy settings will be imported
to the Internet Explorer.

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!

Sincerely,

Steven Liu
