Export messages to a text file

Is there any way, simple I hope, to export email messages to a text file?
Seems like I recall such an export option back in the early OE days.

Emails are text files, except that HTML emails will have <HTML> commands
interspersed with the text. Go to File, Export, Messages.

It's "Save as Text", same as in OE. Select the email, then;

File --> Save as --> Save as Type --> Text files (*.txt) -->Save.

This creates a text copy of the email in the specified folder.

You can also select multiple messages from a message list and then go to
Message | Combine and decode and that will put them into one text file
(without the headers).
