export message error initializing MAPI

I am using Outlook Express 6.0 on WinXP. the exact
message reads: the export could not be performed. An
error occurred while initializing MAPI.

Any ideas?

I changed mapi32.dll to mapi.dll and I still got the same
error. All I want to do is transfer messages from one
email account to another account. When using this export
feature, it says "this wil export messages from Outlook
Express to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange". Is
there another way to export messages from one account to
another?

I tried working the other way by importing from my new
account and that worked. Thanks for responding anyway.
It made me try importing rather than exporting, and it
worked!
