A simple solution (instructions below based on using Excel '2003)

#1 - Rename .ctt extension to .xml
#2 - Open file in Excel
a) save as XML list
b) Excel will create a scheme (just a msg you'll see)
#3 - Delete column one since the same data will be in all rows
#4 - Leaves you with one column - email address.
#5 - Save file in whatever format required

Thx for the reply, Sorry I haven't made it very clear. I want to get the
information from my contacts in outlook 2k3 copied to msn messenger> i have
see the instruction on MS web site that tells you to create a csv file which
i have done, it then tells you to go to messenger and import them saying it
will give you the option of csv or ctt files. IT doesn't! I did mange to do
it in the past but can't remember how I did it. The latest version of
messenger seems to have lost this capability. Any suggestions?

Just create a .ctt file using your contact info.

Here's a description of a quick and easy way to accomplish that desribed in
a blog article written by Francois Beaussier
