I would like to export certain calendar days (for example July 1 to September
30) into a .pst file so I can import those days into another calendar on a
different machine. Both are using Outlook 2000. Is there a way to filter
the calendar days before I export them into a .pst file? Thanks!

First of all, don't export -- create a new .PST file, copy the items to it,
then copy the .PST to the other machine. Make sure the copy isn't marked
read-only, then open it in Outlook using File | Open | Personal Folders File.
It will open in the folder list and you can copy or move the items to the
other calendar if you want.

For the other part of your question, create a custom table-style view that
filters out all dates before July 1 and after September 30, then just copy
the remaining appointments to the new .PST. Bear in mind, though, that
recurring appointments will copy in their entirety if they fit the criteria
-- you can't copy single occurrences.

Sorry, one correction to my last reply. You can copy single occurrences, but
you have to switch to Day/Week/Month view, then copy from there to the new
..PST.
