Export Calendar - Outlook 2003

I use Outlook 2003 at work with Exchange. I also use Outlook 2003 at home to
view my MSN e-mail. I would like to export my calendar from work and import
it into my Outlook at home. All I can find is export/import with Excel. Is
this my wonly option?

If you are on exchange, does not your IT dept give you OWA? That would
enable you to see your calendar at home...(AFAIK...)

Create a PST, copy the calendar folder to it, and take that PST home. Open
it in Outlook there. Notice I never once mentioned "import" or "export".

Yes, I have OWA but I am leaving my current position and I don't want to lose
everything I have on my calendar so I want to export the data so I can import
it into my home calendar.

How do I create a .pst? My current .pst is located on the server and I do not
have access to copy it.

You are legally allowed to do this? All data created with your current
employer's infrastructure legally belongs to them....

If you are using Exchange then you don't HAVE a pst file, you have a
mailbox.
and I do not
have access to copy it.

In Outlook do New-Outlook Data File. With the proviso I posted, that your
current employer is going to allow you to take data away when you leave the
organisation...

I guess I hadn't thought about the legality, as most everyone does I have
birthday, anniversaries, my doctor appointments, etc., on the calendar and I
don't want to recreate everything and lose the history.

I also use Outlook 2003 at home for my office e-mail and calendar connecting
through a VPN so I don't use OWA.

Gordon,
When I go to File, Properties, it says I have a a .pst located on the server
in a folder with my name\Outlook\pat.pst.

If you are using an .ost at home, then export your calendar to a .pst file so you can save an re-use it with Outlook without your Exchange account. That would be just about all you are entitled to do with your work data - save personal information from the calendar.

Thank you Brian, Gordon and Milly. Success. I have my calendar on my home
account and will not have to manually reenter all my anniversaries, birthdays
and doctor appointments.
